I just got this male veiled Friday and he has these spots on his sides. They don't look like burns, they look more like shed. Now I don't know what a chameleon shedding its skin looks like, because its my first time owning a chameleon ImageUploadedByTapatalk1359998757.474476.jpg ImageUploadedByTapatalk1359998786.961878.jpg

More pictures would help.

Looks like shed to me. :) Probably nothing serious. Or it could just be your chameleons skin pattern. No worries.

The white spots look like shed and the grey stripes are normal on veilds dude mine have them to and they turn black when he gets angry. Just mist him more if you mist him with a bottle fill it up with warm to hot water. Dont worry btt water hits him it should be fine he wot get burn. Try to upload couple more pics tho to take a better look

I was not talking about the stripes. I was talking about the white/grey spots on his sides what appear to be shedding, but thanks anyway :)

Oooh, good the paranoia is strong in this one, sounds like a natural born chameleon keeper to me :D Hello and welcome to the forum :)
