K. Tenuis Female

She's looking gorgeous! Just wait untill you see little babies, they are so adorable on K. tenuis!

My ex boyfriend (Belgiumlizard) has bred them, I was there at the time :D I was feeling so lucky, they are so tiny with an extremely long tail and huge eyes. I could remember they grew very slow and I was totally in love with one of the female babies. Just amazing too see the developement of the nose and the colors kicking in very slowly.

I'm gonna see for some pictures I can post.

I have a CD with a chameleon photo back-up somewhere, but this is what I found for now:

The female juvenile I fell in love with:

Nicholas,

I've always thought the female K. tenuis were prettier than the males (although I definitely like them as well). Most of the K. tenuis females I've had over the years, however, were much more green than blue. They all had some blue but most of the blue that your female exhibits was actually green in those animals. Here are a couple examples:

When I got the two females I sent to Cain (I believe this female is one of those two), I was shocked at how blue they were and hesitant about sending them to him because of how nice they were. You've definitely gotten a nice female to start your group with. Hope you are successful getting a group together and getting breeding activity. I think Ryan Jarosek is the only one in the US to have hatched this species.

Thanks Chris! Well this female has layer for me so we shall see if it's a fertile clutch. I also noticed how most other tenuis are much more green than blue. They are such a beautiful species and am glad to be working with them. Now I am just waiting for Nick mole to get some in which I am assuming will ne in the spring.

Here are just a couple more pictures and then I will stop boring you guys with pics for a while! Enjoy!

In this pic she is like "Oh no here he comes"

Wow! The colours i have been seeing on these animals have a sort of 'electric' quality to them.

I love it!

You should see them in person, Steven!!! You are right about the electric quality they have to them. The girls I had seemed to radiate with blue hues!!!

You are welcome to bore me any time, wait no, don't bore any of us with pictures. Send me the little girl and I will just gaze at her.:D

I bet! I can only hope to one day have a chance to keep (or even see) one of these STUNNING creatures.

Well one day I do hope to be able to bring some nice specimens into Canada as I can probably just drive over the boarder due to the fact that I live in Minnesota! However the legalities of it would have to be figured out. I am currently going to be bringing about 10 F3 T. sternfeldi on my next trip to canada for a friend that is starting up a project that lives there. Maybe I'll be bringing tenuis up there one day! ;)

You know who to call if you ever do!
