Blue nosey be help

Hello, I recently purchased a blue nosey be from a local reptile dealer. I have very little experience with chameleons, I had a veiled chameleon for about s year but then I had to give him away when my job relocated me. The blue nosey be dealer I got mine from claimed mine was 5-6 months old however, he seems awfully small and he still has no color really. So I was wondering if It could be stress related or if he is younger that the dealer thought. Thanks!

Lets see some pics of him/her, and some of your enclosure and set up. Do you have a digital scale? I have an approximate 6-7 month old female and she currently is at 55 grams.

Did you have an email I could send them to? I'm literally brand new to these forums so I have no idea how to post pics.

Help

I recently purchased a nosey be locally here in AZ. I have had a veiled Cham in my past but that only lasted a year due to me having to relocate for jobs. Anyways the shop owner claimed he was 5-6 months old. However, he seems awfully small and bleak for that age bracket. So idk if that's normal, if I got a false age, or if he's just under a substantial amount of stress. Any tips and info would be great! Contact me on here or email me at [email protected]

You are correct, most of the captives will have more of a true blue coloration because of selective breeding. But you can still get some greens even from a clutch with mainly blues.

Here is a picture of a little man from our recent clutch. He should be true blue.
