First I want to start off by saying this is my first clutch of eggs that were laid on Oct,31

I have done alot of reading on this site about peoples platic bin setups and what they use. For lighting people say to use reptisun 5.0 but I have not seen anyone mention anything about a basking light or if its really needed?

Hi,

Ill take a pic of one of my baby setups and post it for you tonight. For about the first 2 months I use the Large plastic containers and then sort and move them to screen cages. I use a 48" 5.0 along with a strip light. I can adjust the light positions on the strip an I believe my bulbs are the mini 30watt.
It has worked out great. You will get a better idea after you see the pic :)

Thanks,
Jason
