Lighting

Extending the height of my custom enclosure and enclosing the lighting on the sides only. I just ordered a T5 6 bulb 24W light fixture by ATI. This fixture has cooling fans to extend the life of the components! This will be replacing a quad fixture. Due to the extra sockets (6) I plan on using 2 uvb bulbs (one on each end) to really spread out the uvb. This won't be done for a while as I have to construct, stain and poly the hood. I will post pics when I'm done to show off my new cham swag!

So the lights are on the top still but located on the sides of the enclosure? That would be great for better ways to set up misting systems, but how is the basking site managed? Can't wait to see how this comes out! :coffee:

I think he is making it "pretty" like a show tank and building a box to encase the lighting up top but not putting a top piece on the box. Like this but no top piece on it lol.

All the bugs are not worked out, will post pics when finished. So far so good!

Sweet, may need to add 4 more to the order in the next couple of months. Think production can handle a three month turn around? :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I made that one pretty quickly, so I'm sure it can be done. Not cheap though, I made it out of red oak because we liked that woodgrain the most!
