Pancake was having trouble opening his left eye, after what i thought was an infection (its possible) i used terramycin and it fixed the goop but then he couldnt open his eye. I was using a zoomed 5.0 CFL, it was the bigger of the 2 but it wasnt it was giving him proper lighting. I have another chameleon, Poptart and hes been fine for 3 years on the CFL, hes also a flapneck, so i thought my panther would be fine with it but he was not. Anyways i ordered an arcadia and 6.5 double bulb hood and i love it. Right when you turn it on you can tell it gives off a very clean light. Ive only had it on for 7 days and pancake is back to normal. I reccomend these lights to everyone!
