Lost supers, will they harm my planted cage?

Still having hard time with Kai bonding, even when offering treat feeders. I thought id try a few supers today and well he took 2 from the tongs but i also lost 3 in the baby tears ground cover Should I worry about them eating or killing my planted plants?! I searched for about 5 minutes before giving up the recovery mission. I knew my rooting around was making Kai a bit uneasy therefore defeating the purpose so I called it quits.

The worst that will happen is someday you may see some nasty black beetles in the cage. Superworms become beetles, beetles breed, and more super tiny worms appear. This process will take months.

ugh I was hoping the beetles would just die thank you! ill keep searching, a cage clean is coming soon so ill dig then.

Even an adult super will not become a beetle for months, you have time,

I have one worse; bought superworms at the pet shop and they put them in a plastic bag - had my son's concert that evening - came home and found only 4 superworms in the bag!!! 12 missing in the car, they had chewed thru the bag!!! eeekkkkkkk.... still missing....

Before turning into a black beetle, the superworm will turn into an "alien". They are very easy to breed yourself, so if you see either the alien or the beetle you can plunk them into a bin with oatmeal and start breeding them for yourself. After a year or two you won't even care about barehanding those black beetles or aliens, I promise!
