A PET shop worker has set a new world record after stuffing 16 Madagascar hissing cockroaches - each more than 6cm long - into his MOUTH....

Eew lol. I'm not sure I'd be proud of breaking such a record.

And, I'm proud to say, that's MY petstore! (The one I shop at; I don't own it - though I should have a stake in it, after all the crix I've bought.) He did that Friday at 8, as part of the festivities - it was also doggie trick-or-treat in that neighborhood, and there was a pet costume contest.
The only thing I worry about is the fact that there's a Guiness category for "number of live hissing cockroaches simultaneously in the mouth".

Don't know whether this makes it better, but the roaches weren't chomped; part of the Guiness record was that they had to be live. Don't know that it would be much different for them than a smallish, damp cave. Worlds better for everyone involved than a goldfish swallowing contest, at any rate.
