Is that a veiled? Because i'd deff be leaning twords a male by the looks of that spur on his back foot. It is a bit smaller than my males was when he was a juv but id say its a male

i honestly want to be the minority and say female, from this picture, it doesnt look too too much like the tarsol spur, and i know that this cham cant possibly even hint of sexualy mature at 8-9 weeks, but he does have a rather smooth flow from the vent into the tail. i dont know, again, i just want to be the minority on this one, perhaps another pic?

Did you mean they cant hint at their gender at 8-9 weeks?
Im not sure if thats what you meant :p

Any who Veileds can be sexed at birth basically.
Or so Ive heard from various breeders :)
I have no experience with veiled babies.

deffinately ash, veileds are realy the only species that can be sexed at birth, just from this pic imo to me, doesnt look to much like a spur. but then again, i could be wrong, ive just seen more distinguised ones than this. like i said, another pic could help.

It would actually :)
Now that im staring at it its starting to look like a skin flap.
GAH! Im over thinking it now LOL!
I hate sexing :p

Hears two more pictures

Id say he's deff a little male. Spur is there and at such a young age the vent wouldnt be so thickly developed for another few months. Same thing with my veiled. He looked like a little girl till 5 or 6 months.

I was wondering what was the matter with his nostril? Is it a crusty white discharge? Because if so it looks like signs of over supplementation, which can be harmful. They chams try to get rid of excess calcium through the nose.

Maybe I will just dust one or two of his crickets for a while and see if it goes away. He shed yesterday and I was surprised by what I saw when I got home. He looked normal when I left and when I got home last night his dead skin was hanging off like he just exploded.

oh well if he just finished a shed then its probably skin coming off sorry :) but regardless you should alllways dust his crickets! not too much tho. But you should be dusting every feeding or at the very least every other feeding. Figure out a schedual that works for you and gives him all the calcium he needs. Dusting crix is a must for your growing boy <3
