Male or female?

Sorry folks, usual question - is my blue bar ambilobe panther a male or a female please?

Was purchased early May and I was told male and 4-5 months old at the time. He has just been back to the shop for boarding and they now aren't sure. 'He' previously had spurs which now aren't visible. Shop staff say he behaves as a male when near other male and female panthers. Now at 8-9 months old, 'he' still has no real colour and no spurs. Is he a late-bloomer or female? Many thanks!

I'm going with female. Panthers don't get spurs. That's only veiled. Most other species you have to sex them my looking at their tail by the vent. Males will have a bulge after it because of the sex organs.

My money's on female too since it's flat (or slightly dented) after the cloaca while it would have a slight bulge if it were a boy.. (I'm not even sure if I explained it correctly )

I'd get a lay bin set up because she's at the age where she could start producing eggs

This was my main reason for wanting to know the sex as I suspected it would be about time if he/she was female. I'm feeling quite miffed though as I'd purposely bought a supposed blue bar male

Pretty positive that is a female. My blue bar Panther is 6.5mths and has a very prominent bulge and has for a couple months months and is also very colorful. I know each one is unique but I would be surprised if it was a male at this point.

I have the same problem. I think I have a male because the legs and the spurs. But he is not growing. I got him when he/she was 5 months.
But yours is a female.
