Marks on lower eye

Was cleaning out the chams cage today and noticed this ugly looking spot.
4 Month old, had in my possession for 1.5 months. Regular hand mistings throughout the days, drinks great, right from the mister. He's shed twice. All healthy except for a prior tongue issue that I have had since purchase where he will not fully project his tongue and when he does he misses every single time.
He has been kept in a terrarium since purchase and is in process of moving into his new large cage.

Moved him into his temporary enclosure and saw this nasty looking mark just under his left eye. Any ideas or suggestions as to what it may be? Possible fixes? Starting to look up any vets in the area with any chameleon experience at all, hopefully it doesn't come down to that.

You can also see by the picture that the mark looks as if it goes into the lower portion of his eye socket also. This could also possibly be the issue he is having with his tongue also. Hopefully a cure all..

Don't quote me, but it looks like just some bad shedding. You may want to have a vet look it over to be safe, but I can't see a reason to worry about it too much. The other possibility is mouth rot, but I am by no means an expert on that so I'd have to pass the baton.
