For those that dont take it after a minute of examining it, try poking it with a pen, or tipping it over in your hand. It usually starts them squirming.

I am not sure how well it will work for me.. the majority of my chameleons are not exactly hand feeders. I have 4, maybe 5, panthers that will take food from my hand, but the rest tend to head for the hills when I open the cage doors. They will take some work..
