try wearing leather gloves...then he can get used to sitting on your hand and you won't be at risk of a bite.Make sure you approach him from the front..if you approach him from his back they see it as more of a threat. Put you hand under them to let them climb onto you rather than just plucking them off the branch

it took months before cosmo started to trust me!! he hissed and puffed up and tried to bite me also. it just takes time to establish trust

Yeah I know that now Hopefully In time Weirdo will learn to trust me and that I would never harm him.
