Melleri Egg Laying!!

Update!

All three eggies that had dents have dents no longer. :D Oh, and they are still all looking fantastic!! ;)

So far so good!

Update:

After almost 2 months, I have lost only 4 eggs so far: 1 just collapsed and 3 were taken by mold. But all the others (including the ones that are in the container with the ones taken by mold) look fine. These "little" eggs are the biggest I have seen!!! :D

Hey all:

They are still doing stupendous! (she said crossing fingers and toes). They are HUGE!!! I was going to take some pictures of them with the quarter as referece, but I didn't want to disturb them or lose any of the humidity in the container. I guessing they should be about another month or so. :D

I know you don't want to count your chickens before they hatch but please put me on the list! I've been dying for a cb melleri!! Congrats hope the hatchings go smoothly!!:)

That's amazing! Can't wait to see them hatch! Good luck Julie! Your doing a great job!

Ps- I want to be on the list like Thompson :)

Thanks, you guys. I've begun to check in on them twice each day just in case. The humidity seems to be holding up (way better than last time) and I just can't say enough about how good these eggs look. I've never seen any that look better. Not just their size (they are currently about 3x-4x the size they were in the first pic with the quarter), but the overall health of the eggs. And, surprisingly, despite a couple drastic heat waves (like the clutch last year), I've been able to keep temps/humidity consistent. Here's hoping.

@Stefan: You were already on the "list". Probably like 5 times now. lol...
