Thanks!! The 2 are out in their bin and are all over the place. 4 more are sweating now. They are seemingly healthy and doing fantastic! (although having said that, I am certainly not starting to count my chickens (i.e. chams) yet.

"]I'm literally shaking with excitement for them... I can't imagine how you feel now this far ahead.... Still crossing every part of my body for them... Go go go :D

4 more sitting in their collapsed egg with their noses out taking their first breaths and 4 more sweating. :D And naturally, my camera is not all that great at super-duper close ups. :(

I'm glued to your thread - pulling for your soon to be new kiddos!! I'm so very excited for you! And wow - those are huge eggs!!

Any word if you're going to be selling these and how much? May r it wod be possible to put a deposit down since I'm assuming they'll be going like hotcakes.

Congrats on this amazing feat.

Congratulations!!!! The babies are perfect. We wish to do this one day in the future too, so its exciting to be able to share and watch your babies arrive safely into the world. Good Luck for the next stage and for the rest of the eggs to hatch soon.

Sorry but you are at the end of the line, and I think it is a pretty long line:eek: well ok Julie does have a number of babies coming. i am also so excited, I should have sucked it up and bought one from fluxlizard, I am not going to miss my second chance at a cb melleri.

Julie hates me but I am prepared to grovel.:( Just kidding Julie, for those who don't know Julie & I are friends.

It is obvious that you hate and envy Julie, seriously take your groveling somewhere else. It is bad for the chameleons to see such a poor display of humility :p

just kidding for those who couldn't tell...

Anyways, congrats and more congrats! I can't wait to see pictures and also wouldn't mind waiting in that long line of people wanting to possibly purchase one :D

Hey I cant speak for anyone else but I'll look at not so great close up pictures of perfect little melleri babies!

I'm so excited for you!

Thanks everyone for the well-wishes, finger-crossing, etc.!! As most of you know, I have been working at this and for this moment for quite some time so needless to say, I am super excited and running on adrenaline (i.e. zero sleep).

The one container that I was worried about the most throughout incubation is actually hatching first. The first hatchling came out of this bunch (the second out of a different container) and as of this morning before heading in to work, there were 4 that had split and 3 more that were sweating. So, rather than take any chances, they made the trip to the office with me, along with a travel cage (i.e. smaller acrylic w/screen top, plants, etc.) for when they hatched. One made its way out of the egg before I got out of the driveway. So, they are all chillaxing under my desk. Hey, it was either that or miss work.... ;)

More updates and pics soon......

Oh, and Laurie......you know I love you. No need to worry TOO much. :D;)

For those of you in this area...... these little guys are coming out like little oxen so I will most likely have a few of them with me (for display purposes only) at SEWERFest on Sunday (Southeast Wisconsin Exotic Reptile Fest). :)
