Melleri Eggs....Update

Figured the old thread (https://www.chameleonforums.com/melleri-egg-laying-57344/) was getting a little big, so here's a new one....

Update on the eggs: They are freakin' HUGE!! The best eggs (of any species) I have had yet. I am really amazed at how large they are. I would take the "quarter by the egg" picture for reference, but I don't want to open the container.

I was making my daily rounds this morning and saw that a couple of them are starting to ooze a little. None of them are really sweating yet, but it's about that time, so I'm keeping an eye out and a closer eye on the oozers. I'm moving them upstairs where it's a little warmer to elevate their temps a little. I'm happy that I have been able to keep the humidity levels more elevated this time around, even despite our horrid heat wave. :)

That is encouraging news! Hopefully they will start hatching soon - I can't wait to see the photos! Hurry up and hatch l'il guys and gals!:D

Julie I have my fingers & toes crossed and my checkbook ready.:rolleyes::rolleyes: What is it a little early for that?

Pictures as soon as they start hatching. Finally this time you get babies. YEAH

First head out!!!

Just got home and the first place I went was to the eggies that are sitting upstairs in the pantry now to start warming (they have been in a cooler environment since their lay date of April 9, 2011).......

The one that was just sweating this morning had its head out to the shoulders and was looking right at me like, "um....hello? A little help here??" Found a couple more in the same container (there are 3 separate containers) that are sweating.

More updates soon......

Totally stoked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D:D:D

Wow congrats and good luck with these guys! I just read all your other threads about them not hatching, so sad :(

Hopefully all of these come out awesome. Good luck!!

2 out and chillaxing from their long journey. Photos coming.

FYI - the best thing about this...... No fruit flies!! They come out of the egg so big they can eat 1/4 - 3/8 crix!!!:D:cool:
