Mesh Cage Cover Material

Hello,
Recently I have been struggling to keep the humidity of my panther chameleons cage over 50%. I spray the cage for about 2-3 minutes 4-5 times a day and I have a dripper running but I still can't increase the humidity. I have a mesh cage and the advice I've been given is to wrap a plastic material around the sides of the cage to help keep the humidity levels up. I was wondering if you had any suggestions of what material to use, especially in terms of being able to withstand the heat from within the cage.

Home improvement stores usually have rolls of plastic used for various things like to cover the floor while painting and such.
