a friend of mine fed his cham bananas once in awhile so I was eating watermellon and cut a long slice for loki,my daughters maroancetra panther. It hit it with his tongue a few times then ate 4 small bites of it.It likes bugs more, but It will eat fruit.

Thats weird. I never really knew you could feed your panthers fruit. I gutload my crickets with lotsa stuff but my chams just eat the crickets and worms and what not. What else can you feed chams?

so far i've only heaerd of them eating bananas an watermellon.idk what all else they will eat or if its even good for them.

mine have occationally pulled what i call a "veiled moment" where they start "tasting" everything..so when i see them trying to chew on stuff, i toss em a salad with fruits and veggies..ive seen the female nail a couple blueberrys, and pomegranate pulp..the male goes for water melon ( i always have watermelon since its what i use for hydraiting the crix..along with water ofcourse)..

Some Veileds, Panthers and other species will eat all sorts of fruits, veggies and greens. Most people never try to feed them that stuff though. Ive found most chams to be interested in sweet fruits like strawberries, thinly sliced apple and various melons. I have a Veiled that loves green beans. Who would have guessed!
Give it a try everyone. Its great for your chams!
