You can't go wrong with MistKing. The product is great and so is Marty. Never had a problem with anything Mist King related.

See ya,

Todd

I need to go to mistking...I use an old fashioned dripper, and spray bottle still. They work great, my chams drink right from the bottle at times, and shower under the drips. :)

The timer you're looking at is fine. Realisticly you're only looking at 2 or 3 events a day. I didn't look that close, but one with a battery backup is helpful if your power ever goes out (especially when you're on vacation and a friend is taking care of your pets). You can get similar timers at Lowe's or Home Despot also. Just price them out and get what's best for you and your budget.

I love my mist king. I would buy the timer from Marty and you can get a bucket for the water at HD- the big orange homer bucket. I couldn't find a timer at HD that was less than 10 mins and I only wanted 5.

You won't go wrong.. but remember, there is no timer with this system... so compare it to getting the system with a timer and some of the other goodies... see how they compare to you. Either way, you'll prolly need a timer....

I really like my Mist King nozzles and pump.

i would recomend getting the seconds timer ($30) so you can have more, shorter, run times (of less than one minute) that greatly aids in drainage and flood control, you can always program it longer if you want to

alright so i will look around at home depot and lowes what should i ask them when looking for a timer lol...:] i do not want them to think i am looking for a stop watch ..! :D

They sell timers that do 7 'on-off' cycles. They just don't do anything less than one minute. Personally... even if you got a none digital, the kind that have the little tabs and each one is about 20 minutes.... having two of those popped up twice a day is just fine...

ANYONE who runs a mist system should have drainage. There is no reason to mist for 10 seconds here and there just so you don't to set up somewhere for water to go....

Most people will tell you a 15-20 minute mist in the morning and later in the afternoon is perfect. so... you'll need somewhere for the water to go. I personally think it is just something that needs to be worked out when having a cham... kinda like fish need a water filter... or heater.... or water change outs... chams need heat lamps, UVB lamps, misters and drainage... oh and food ;)
