Misting spray system recommendation

I'm looking to buy a high quality misting system. Anyone recommend anything. I have a melleri chameleon who is doing well by the way. I hand spray mist him and shower him but I wan a upgrade my enclosure with a sprayer that that will mist for about hour. I plan on installing a drain and run pipe down to my sump pump. Any advice would be great! Thanks

Marty with MistKing is a great person to contact. I have his ultimate system and it is powerful enough to run my 20 nozzles off of one pump, I believe the max is 30. It came with a timer that can even go to the seconds if needed. Great guy and great products!

I also want to upgrade my lighting. Currently I have a 5.0 reptisun that is a bulb. What's better a tube style lighting or screw in bulb . I want a top notch system, any advice??

I second the MistKing system. I have been looking for a few months and just ordered mine Friday night. I have watched tons of videos and read lots of reviews and even talked to people that have had others and then switched to a MistKing.

I wish I could help you with the lighting, but I am still new to all of this. I have a UVB 5.0 18" tube and also a 6500K 18" plant light tube as well. Then I have a basking light that currently has a 75W, but I am going to change that out as my basking area is WAY too warm. I just got my thermometers today so I was finally able to check out the 3 temperature areas that I want to monitor.

Personally with my reptiles and amphibians I am a big HOT5/ LED guy. Todd with Lightyourreptiles.com carries great products of both and a lot of people have had great success with his products on here. I would go with a two bulb HOT5 and use the Arcadia D3 6% bulbs over your set-up to give you the proper UV spectrum and they work great on live plants too.

i have an aqua zamp, i don't have any issues with it but the mistking system is amazing as well! Either route you go you will be in good hands!

The Original RainDome is a great way to stimulate the natural drinking habit of your chameleon.

There is a sale going on with the LowProfile RainDome system. Purchase this system and enter coupon code: "freeUP" (must use code as it is shown). This is a $25 savings.

I use the exo terra monsoon rain system RS400 and that works fine. Mist King is great as well.

The only issue with mistking is the pump pressure, I think it's rated at 125 psi. If you only have a couple nozzles hooked up it can really shake your cages like crazy. You have to tie down every loose bit of hose or it will rattle around. I only use the mistking pump if I'm spraying a whole wall full of cages, I really wish they would offer a smaller pressure pump. With a single cage setup I use the pro mist pump, it's rated at 50 psi I think. It will easily push 8 nozzles no problem, and it's much quieter and doesn't create the dreaded hose chattering. I use the red nozzles from ecologic technologies, maybe if I was using the mistking nozzles with their pump the hose rattle wouldn't be as bad, I don't know.

This really is a Ford vs. Chevy argument and both work great. As someone who has used both I am firmly in the Rain Dome camp now. I have found Kevin from AquaZamp to stand behind his products like none other.
