Hi all! I am planning my outdoor enclosure for my panthers. It will only be for some day use, not permanent housing. However, the summers are ridiculously hot here (Central California). Misting will definitely help extend the use of the enclosure and I am excited to give my chams extra long mistings. Inside, I limit sessions to 2 minutes because my drainage tray can only do so much.
So! Inside, I have one nozzle and the chams avoid it quite a bit actually. For the outside enclosure I want to do multiple nozzels, but do I need to be careful about leaving them a spot to escape the spray? They could travel into the denser foliage I plant I suppose, but is this good enough? I want to run misters all along the length (5 1/2ft) but is it better if I leave a side without misters?
I plan on using drip irrigation line and misters sold for patios, and a programmable timer. These misters are more fine than my monsoon I think. Anyone who uses this type of out door misting have any additional suggestions?
