Misting System

can someone give me a link to a good misting system? I've had Darwin for a month now and I've been spraying him with a bottle, but it's hard as I am also a full time college student. I've finally got my tax money back and have enough to get a good misting system, so any would be appreciated!=) our pet stores have some, but I'm not sure if they're good/the best.

Mist King misting systems. I have one in my 25x24x36" for my soon to be ppanther and it is aweome. There's plenty of places you can order it from. I ordered mine from LLL reptile for $100 for the starter system. Can't beat it. :)

Love my mistking! There is also a system out there called Climist. Seems to be a good one too. Avoid the Monsoon, Habbamist, Reptirain, foggers, and the other 40-60$ systems. This is one place to spend a little more for a lot more quality.

I bought a CliMist system, just got it set up. The instructions are like crap, and a test run this morning showed that something isn't letting water come out the sprayer. Will look at it when I get home.

If it's brand new, I would check that all the hoses are seated perfectly in the collets (the little wiggly connection points you have to pinch to remove the tubing) - the tubes should snap in place with a noticeable "pop" and also ensure that your tubing is cut perfectly straight. You'll get leaks at the connections if either of these are off and you may not get spray.

If you're like me, also make sure you haven't put anything in backwards and make sure you have the pump plumbed in the correct direction. Blarg :)

The pump may also need to be "primed" for your first use - run the system without the nozzle hooked up to clear the lines of air. Then stop and snap the tubing into the nozzle. Sometimes the pumps will "self-prime" and sometimes they won't and you have to disconnect from the nozzle.

I checked the connections and where it leaked was where it wasn't pushed in all the way. Works now!

Now to figure out the timer. :D

I have to put my vote in for the Mistking as well. They're a bit pricey upfront, but they'll last forever and are so, so worth it.

Go with a Mistking. Monsoons are junk. I don't have any experience with climist but they seem to be of a good quality according to people on here.
