Mistking maintenance

Leo is getting an upgrade but I was guilty of using tap water on his mistking and our water is pretty hard. I want to get the build up off the nozzle. Could i dip it in viniger? Im using the right water now but I figure now is a good time to fix it. You can see the build up in the top right corner

You should be able to soak the nozzles in vinegar, but that may not do the trick. There is a lot of buildup there.

i just looked and I saw that i have an extra nozzle so I will swap that out. when I got close I saw the leaves and vines have calcium residue on it. Any suggestions for cleaning those? if I take leo out and I use vinegar on them?

I ended up spraying the leaves with Apple cider vinegar and that's what I soaked the nozzle in. I hope it works!

The typical cleaner is white vinegar.
I agree with that. I found on some plant forums that apple cider vinegar can actually be good for the plants so I thought i would try that first. Thanks for the input!

I understand, and was wondering about the plant. Rinse the heck out of that nozzle. Here is a portable RO system made for pets. The filters are cheap and should be replaced yearly. The membrane won't ned to be replaced for a few years. PETCO may sell it too and are sometimes cheaper as I think they are the same company because PETCO boxes also have 'drsfosterandsmith' written on the box:
