Mists And Water

I live out in the country so we have well water which I am told is safe for fish animals etc. I recently put de chlorinator in my fish tank and they started dropping one by one and I replaced the water and now they are fine which brings me to chameleon related questions.
1. Should I treat the all the water that my chameleon comes in contact with reptisafe? Or just have regular tap water for misting, dripping etc?
2. What are you guys thoughts on Zilla Tropical Mist? Should I use this every time I mist or just regular water?

The Zilla Tropical Mist says it aids shedding has moisturizer for reptile skin and enhances color and so on. Seems to be for chams due to the cham on the label and instructions and what not.

I have well water also and I also have fish a 100gal and a 30gal. I don't treat the water for my fish. And I just use well water for my chams and everyone is happy and healthy. If you well water is safe and doesn't have any chlorine in it I wouldn't worry. you can also get some quick dip sticks that are used for checking fish water for ammonia, Nitrate and Nitrite. If all those show up negative in your well water then it's fine.

Regarding the Zilla, that has chemicals in it that might not be good for your cham..it's more gimicky then anything. Just spray with plain water to hydrate him and his skin.

Do you want to "re-use" the water? I am not familiar with that type of setup. I mist mine 3 times a day by hand and also I use a dripper, which is basically a plastic cup with a hole on the bottom...a tiny hole that is...

i'm starting to feel bad...is tap water ok...my cham is fine and has white urates...active, etc....

By the way I use bottle water -from Albertson's- .

That must be so expensive! They've been doing research on bottled water and scientists have found that there are more toxins and carcinogens in bottled water then tap water. Also Herpetologists are finding that one of the leading leading caused for the decline of amphibians all over the world are the chemicals that are used to make the plastics. Manufacturing releases the chemicals into the air which gets caught up in the trade winds and then are dumped into breeding grounds as rain.
