Molly looking exceptionally well today

I would be very wary about that. Just a quick search turned this pdf file up:

http://www.hcvadvocate.org/hepatitis/factsheets_pdf/CAM_avoid.pdf

The title is: HCV & CAM:Dietary Supplements to Avoid

“Natural” does not mean safe. The following
contains some natural substances that are potentially
harmful. This list is by no means exhaustive. Supplements
that are specifically associated with hepatotoxicity
(liver poisoning) are designated with an “*”.
Substances on this list are referred to in their oral form only.

And, on the list is: Colloidal Silver.

It doesn't have a nasty asterisk, but it's still "potentially harmful".

I was just misting Molly and she was drinking out of the spray bottle and she started salivating. Then she started what looked to me like choking and her mouth was open and she was gaping for air so I grabbed her and tilted her over to the side and a bunch of saliva came out of the corner of her mouth. I wanted to make sure her airways were clear for sure so I got her off of the tree and did a few downward thrusts to her with her head facing down. Not much more came out so she's okay now but what do you think happened? I have seen her salivate like that once before and it was when she was drinking but her head was tilted to the side that time and it was just draining out. Any thoughts?

You said..."she was drinking out of the spray bottle"..."Then she started what looked to me like choking and her mouth was open and she was gaping for air"...did you spray the water into her mouth or just drip it in? If you were spraying it into her mouth, she could have aspirated it.

You said..."I wanted to make sure her airways were clear for sure so I got her off of the tree and did a few downward thrusts to her with her head facing down"...thrusts????????

The bumps on her nose...have they grown at all since you lanced them?

I have another thread going about her choking but we did not end up lancing them Dr. Mertz thinks they are pretty secluded from the rest of her body and they should go away with time.

Well I did the office collection today (pay day) and raised $52. Its in the mail tomorrow for you along with a pod of silkworms. I know Jannb is sending you some silkies so if you want them at a later stage let me know and I can delay the shipment of them or send another feeder. :)

You said..."we did not end up lancing them Dr. Mertz thinks they are pretty secluded from the rest of her body and they should go away with time"...it was quite a while ago that you mentioned lancing them...have they grown since then??

Oh yeah that was a few months ago. No it didn't do anything, we couldn't get anything out of them and she did not have anesthesia so I didn't want to toy with them. If we do end up removing them which I hope Dr. Mertz agrees too she will definitely be under and many donation will go towards that and also the lancing and flushing of her eye.

oh, how stupid of me...

I had searched for results which contained the word chameleon...I guess my bad eyes took in hep and cam and translated them to herp and cham for my brain....

Sorry but the light was on the way before I saw this. Let me know if it arrives ok.

I will try to get a picture of molly's home as soon as possible, internet is down, i'm at panera bread right now. So the medication I got for molly last night was gentamicin opthalmic solution and the directions said give one drop my mouth once daily. I was confused, but I couldn't get a hold of Dr. Mertz and no other vets knew. So I tried it once and her mouth started bleeding!
