Molly update, not well...

So today Molly is not doing well. She is very lethargic at the moment and keeps falling. I placed her on a patch of greenery and put her heat lamp above her so she can keep warm. She is pretty cold and I hope that is the only reason. I called the vet to see if I can get her in tomorrow, I just hope she can last the night. I will update everyone if anything changes.

Some photos of her at the moment. She is just sun bathing, not really moving much, but at least she is holding herself up, a few minutes ago she was just laying on my hand.

So she keeps falling and wont hold herself upright so I put a box with some towels in her cage, one side has her heat lamp the other side doesn't. I really hope she is okay, she is laying her head down. She was fine earlier, crawling around her cage. I don't know what's wrong :(

Does anyone have any suggestions? I have tried a shower, she wont stay up or even try to drink. I have been misting her every few minutes and gave her a few drops of water in her mouth.

I don't think there is really anything you can do until you get to the vet. I suggest you make sure she is warm, and has enough water. I hope she makes it, I've been following her story of her tough fight, Best of luck!

Well one point of good news is that she can stand up but is a bit wobbly and then just lays back down. I do not know what the vet will be able to do... I only have enough gas money to drive down once but I have to go back that direction to pick up my mother at 11pm at the airport =( the only way I will be able to work it out is if I go down at 8 pm after work and take one trip to bring Molly and get my mom, but Dr. Mertz would then have to stay at the hospital all night until I get there and I hope he really cares about her that much. I don't know if he would want to take her home with him or what but I am at a loss. I won't know anything until tomorrow morning. I don't even know how much this will cost. I used much of the mailed money on her medication so I am only left with around $100 and then I need to use $20 to get there and the exam fee is $55 so that leaves me with $25 for extra care :( definitely not enough... If anyone is able too send money to them I will let you know what the situation is in the morning if you know what I mean :(

Should I try an oral sugar solution?

She is looking a tad bit better, her head is up at least. She is on the side without the lamp.

No, the newest one is from Feb. 23. She is back to being lethargic, I tried to put her back in her regular cage but she is falling again. She seems disoriented. she is back in her box now. I put her outside for a few hours today, maybe it was too cold?? It was so beautiful today, bright and sunny and 50 degrees in the shade. I put her out on the deck in a black screen carrier on a black tarp. When I brought her in the sun had moved and the shadow was on her. She was a bit cold so I warmed her up and she was fine. She was perfectly fine until about 7ish and is now like this.

What should I do for her tonight? I don't want to keep her heat lamp on. I do have an under tank heat pad but it is on my dubias. I could put Molly's heat lamp on the dubias and use the heat pad for molly but would that be okay to have heat on her at night?

Left her in her box with a face cloth. There is a heat pad under the face cloth and Molly is laying on it. I am going to get up every hour to make sure she is okay. I keep checking on her and she is okay. Sleeping soundly... Lets hope it stays that way.

Kayla I am sure you are in bed but if not just let her be comfortable as usual. We will have to see how she is tomorrow. Please let us know before you go to work if you can. We are all pulling for you.

Kayla the heating pad could be too warm for her. At the very least take a towel folded like 4 or 6 times them put Molly on it. She doesn't need to be overheated with all the other problems.

I will, I don't go to work until 3pm. She was falling over in her cage, she is pretty wobbley. I have her in a box with face cloths and a heat pad. She seems content enough.

I'm so sorry to hear about Molly. She looks very weak in the pictures.

What do you think about the plants you put in recently? The silk ones ... do you think they might have dyes that could be affecting her? I know it's a long shot but you never know. I understand her condition .. it's heartbreaking. Perhaps you are doing all you can for her. Your unconditional love is felt ... she knows you are trying to do all you can.

Keep her warm and give her showers with a spray bottle to keep her hydrated until she see's the vet. I know you know this but it's my maternal instinct kicking in. Don't mind me :)

If ur gunna bring her to the vet the heat is what you can do. You can not stress her it will not help!!! I feel you but what your doing is your best. The more contact when weak isn't good.
