Also you are forgetting a handeling fee for doing the import and shipping to you from who ever imports them. So its going to be more then $450 per cham by the time it hits the states for someone to do this. That is probably the reason the person offered 100 per cham so people could still get them at a cost effective price.

Okay. Honestly I'm just saying what I had been told. No reason to be rude about it. I made a mistake in believing the person was right when they said the person importing could sell them for $450 and break even. I've never imported so i believed it.

it can be done an @ 350 a piece they will cost around 600 bucks when they get here.
an chamtini im not bein rude im tryen open your eyes to the way it works not the way you been told.. an again noones goin to doit to breakeven an like i said thats not even breaking even an as stated theres alot of things that can happen an to not breakeven or just about breakeven isnt worth the risks an headaches.
id import a group of lil ones if benton has a group avail,storm does look awesome i just want yall to know theyd be more then 450.

I wouldnt mind gettin a pair to add to my lines if its possible id bring a group in, i just want people to understand it isnt always an easy thing an i doubt anyone would doit to sell them here for 450 a cham i wont not for the hassle an risk involved.

I completely understand that, to do that the risk would outweigh the reward.. Just not worth it.

It's possible, Rob is just warning you of the road blocks you may hit. Basically, Rob is just stating that if someone were to go to work at importing them, they will want a minimum of $600 for each Faly, probably more. They have to ask this price because it is a lot of work and the importer has to make some money. The importer then runs a risk of the animals growing up and looking nothing like a Faly. Not that this will most certainly happen, but it is always a possibility. ( Rob and I had a personal experience with this. )Then the importer will receive the backlash if this happens. It can just lead to a vicious cycle and there could be a battle between importer / exporter/ and consumer. Then again, you could very likely grow some beautiful Falys and everyone wins. Everyone just has to understand the risk involved.

Send em here. It is cheap to import into Canada as long as you have your license. For a cham that is $100 it would cost an additional $7 per chameleon. Depends on the county of final destination.

Really.? Does it cost extra then to ship them to the US from Canada.? We'll just have them shipped to Canada, and then we can all have one.
