More pics of Storm, Nosy Faly

The only thing required on the Canadian side for export is a CITES permit. No additional costs. However the individual importing them on the U.S side would get hit with all of the U.S. Fees. This is one major benefit to living in igloo country:D

So if you got them sent to you, how much would we have to pay to get them sent to us.? Sorry, I don't really understand the whole importing thing yet.

I would not re sell imported animals. As a breeder they would stay here. If I were a wholesaler then maybe. For you to import you would need a customs broker....not cheap. Depending on the state you may have to pay a percentage of the entire order. You will pay holding fees at cargo. If something goes wrong, you pay. They really dont care if you get you animals or not. US customs closes their border all the time. If this so happens to fall during shipping time, delays will cost you, in some cases permits will have to re applied for. It really is a headache getting them into the US.

I have shipped to the US a few times in the past. If it was from me or someone else in another country, your costs will be roughly the same. For all international shipments their usually is a minimum order that all breeders charge to make it worth all the risks and time.

Lets say some one lives across the border from you, say 2-3 hrs away... What could be the ramifications of bringing them back over the border.. On the DL..

You shipped an awesome group of faly to us a couple years ago. At the time we didn't understand all you had to go through to do it. They were awesome unrelated offspring from Raiden and some other Faly you had at the time. Below is a picture of two of the little guys. I think these are from spring 2010.

Boy, now I am feeling bad because we have so totally hijacked this thread. Sorry Benton1576.

Those of you just tuning in now should definitely go to post #1 of this thread to see his pics of Storm. He is awesome.

Benton, I know I have told you this in this thread. However, your boy is one stunning Nosy Faly. Great work, bringing him back from his original, rough condition. You could never tell and you have done very well with him. Great work.

Thanks Kilgour, that means a lot coming from someone such as yourself! :D

On a side note, i think ill be ordering some gutloading products from you soon and see if i can intensify the colours more! I've heard nothing but good things about some of the products available over your side of the pond.

Just an update, the eggs are looking wonderful from this guy, and i now have another female on order for him so this time next year ill be breeding him with 2 more unrelated females! :D

I also have some of these reserved now, so im thinking they are going to sell quickly once they hatch out!

I have 3 reserved now. These are going to go fast!!!!

If anyone with experience is interested in importing them to the US im all ears. :D
