Sometimes it means they're too hot but your temps seem fine. What size is the enclosure? How are you measuring the temp?

It could also be an RI, if it's not heat. You should check for popping sounds when breathing, wheezing, mucus and/or bubbles. More than likely you'll notice just one of those, if any at all...

If none of the above, it's possible that he's doing it for no reason... sometimes they just do that... but it'd check the above options first and keep an eye on him.

You could also take him to the vet to ensure your findings are correct.

its 3ft tall 3ft wide and 32 inches deep,i plan on getting a bigger one asap, not noticed the noises or anything coming from his mouth,he etas his crickets and mealworms fine, what size viv would you suggest getting?

The one you have isn't a bad size for how old he is. But if you're already planning on getting a larger one, he'd enjoy that. The recommended size for a veiled is 24x24x48 (L x W x H). The bigger, the better, in my opinion.

All my chameleons do that same, He's just cooking the crickets he just ate in the sun, I was worried but the vet told me hes just digesting the food in the sun! No worries! :D

I'd also get rid of the moss at the bottom. Veileds are known for eating stuff, and any Cham could ingest it accidentally when shooting for bugs. Could cause an impaction.
Real plants will help with humidity.
Kath.
