ok, we are moving in two weeks. its not that far away maybe 10 mintues. any ideas on how to make the move less stressful for a 8 month old veil chameleon ? im not even sure what im going to put him in to move him. he cage is to big to leave him in. can anyone help me ????

have you considered one of those large one gallon plastic "critter keepers"? if its only a few minutes away, maybe keep it covered so it thinks its night time and feels less stressed. just a thought.

10min? I took my chams on a 3day road trip when I moved across the country. Second most stressful point in my life!:rolleyes:I would never do it again:mad:
So I do understand your concern. Any simple box with a stick in it will work for that trip. You could even just hold the cham, or let it ride on the seat:)
Good luck!
Just put him in a box, or on a rope, or anywhere handy, load his cage stuff, and take it all over at once. Set his stuff up, and pop him back in;)

maybe ill just put all his vines in a box and sit him in there lol he hates to be held or out of his cage so no matter what i do he is going to be upset. good idea on making it dark hopefully it works. thanks

Yeah, just put somthing from his cage in there so he is comfy:)
If you put them in the dark they do instantly go to sleep(99% of the time)
but I wouldnt put him to sleep for that short a trip. JMO
