A fan is not going to help with that. I would look into a window air conditioner. If your ambient temps are 85 then you are going to need to turn off the basking. It will be harder for him to regulate temps though with an ambient temp that high.To add a little air flow around the cage. We are headed into summer any week now. It will be 90-100f for then next 2 months or more. I have a tiny 4" USB fan that will work well for that. . Do you still use the basking light in summer?.
I actually us a fan on my chameleons. Witch an open window to help with air flow and heat in my house. Not allowed to turn on the ac electric bill will be to high. Even have to fight just to keep the lights on the cages all day because in my family’s eyes it’s a waste of energy. Then I tell them they are a waste of spaceDoes anyone use a fan near the cage?
So as far as timers I use this brand. The first one has 1 outlet the second has two. I find them very easy to use. I use this to control my fogger then I have a separate one for my thermostat.

As far as cage cleaning I think most of us have our own ways of doing stuff but very similar.
I do spot cleaning every day. Clean out the urate and poo. I wipe off any leaves and branches that it falls on with a wet paper towel and hot water. I wet vac my drip pan every day to remove the water from the day before.
Each weekend. I have a pressurized spray bottle. I use very hot water and spray all the branches and all the plant leaves. I do not use any fake branches in mine because they can hold bacteria. I use a Quaternary cleaner on my drip pan by spraying it all over a paper towel and then totally cleaning the drip pan. I let it sit on the drip pan for about 15 minutes then use hot water to clean it out and remove with the wet vac.
Every month I take apart his RO Water container for the mistking and the fogger with hose and clean with starsans. Let it sit then rinse and air dry.
Alot of people will use diluted bleach. I happen to get a reaction when I use cleaning products with bleach so I had to find other ways to clean properly.

Hmmmm my devices are left in the on position. The timers control them to start and stop when I want them toWhen power comes back on I have to hit the start button. It wont start automatically. What kind of fogger are you using.
