My baby is here!!!

He's finally home. I am so excited he's finally home! He was pretty stressed from getting home and changing environments but after only several minutes he already brightened up some. I know it will take a while for him to adjust so Im giving him time but he's been active and checking out his new home since he got here. He's a cute little guy and I can not wait for him to get a little more adjusted to his home. Now he needs a name......

I posted one in the enclosure section. Made the suggested changes though. Nothing drastic so basically the same

Oh also he was trying to nip at his palnts (they are all real and off of the suggested live plant list here) So we figured we would try and put a few crickets in and he is a hunting machine. They said he might not be hungry after the stress of the move, boy were they wrong. He's gobbling them up as fast as he can.....

This is Yoda. He is a very active little guy so far. He was walking on the ceiling of his enclosure. He is doing chameleon things as my son would say. As you do!

How far away is that branch thing away from the lamp. It should be 6-8 inches, but it seems further away than that. He's hanging under the lamp because he's trying to heat himself. It's possible that he could get burned from this.

Thanks guys. Hes a veiled. The highest point is about 4 inches from the top and then to drops slowly to about 6 inches and the other branch is about 9 inches. He was really just moving around this was very soon after putting him in there. My son picked the name I was going to name him Hendrix. He's kinda cute huh. Lol I am so obsessed.

my small panther did that when i first got him, he was hanging upside down for the entire day and did other strange moves hanging upside down--- i haven't seen him to that ever since.

From what I am reading on here and from what the store said this is normal baby behavior and its normal for them when they get into their new home to go a l ittle crazy for a few days. He is so cute I just got worried because people are very concerned with him hurting his toes or falling. I was really worried to but it seems this is normal behavior and he should stop before to long lol
