my cham licks me?

My chameleon licks me too, though more like he was licking moisture off a leaf than actually extending his tongue at me. I generally see it as a testing thing.
In terms of fully extending his tongue at you, probably because of handfeeding or possibly because she saw something shiny.

Yeah, none of my chams ever licked me unless I just didn't notice, but I've seen videos on youtube of the same thing.
I reckon it's like a catious way of checking what you'll do if she tries to interact with you (I'm probably over thinking it too now, but I imagine the attitude to be like a cross between a puppy licking you and a shark giving a test-bite

haha i like that.
i guess its cause i hand feed her too much, lol.
ofc i freerange her crix but everytime i get in is to feed mostly. she's great with me but like all chams she hates being handles, she's so dumb though she loves being outside, but wont get outside unless i "force her"
i need to catch her offguard sometimes.
i havent handeled her for more than 4 seconds, most i handled her was like two months ago, she would climb on me and catch flies that were going around, now she's all grown up QQ
i guess thats how parents feel?

i've heard its because she is looking for male scents my little girl does that to me to from time to time but she has started showing some gravid colors. how old is she???

That makes sense, if my girl starts to lick me soon and then looks receptive I'm going to go with the scents.......
Maybe mine is not looking because she can smell the male in the room anyway (she can't see him of course)

my baby male panther licks me all the time. I've never hand fed him either. I had another post about it and someone said they're just seeing who has been there before.

Its common in males, well at least male panthers....mine does it all the time. He has been know even to dab my arm and other random things.

my oldest guy shoots at me all the time when i have him on my hand and im walking around with him,he looks up at me and i just get ready for it lol..he does it all the time,i think its cute,dunno why he does it but i love my sticky little chammy kisses
