My chameleon ate green fertilizer balls!

Please I found 12 green fertilizer balls in her poop the hibiscus pot has been sealed off...covered ...and had rocks and substrate applied to it I do not know how she is getting them but she doesn't want her normal diet ( I know they can go 3 days w out food) but I investigated her bowl movement when all she was doing was hitting substrate ...the pot was sealed off so she couldnt get to those pesky things ...should I take her to vet immediately or ???? Please help!❣❣❣❣

If I were you I would schedule a vet app and have them look at it, she could have chewed the balls which in my guess would be toxic, and if they weren’t broken then she still could’ve ingested some of the chemicals

Please send recent pictures of her, do you have a lay bin set up? That may be the reason she was down there in the first place. Can you fill this form out so we can help you out better and correct any mistakes?

She has a massive inside hibiscus ? w screen in cage and I move her outside as i live n tropical s.w. Florida to her huge outside hibiscus ? and lay bin ...she ate three super worms today but her bowl movement was all sticks and fertilizer she is huge tummy sagging and my husband (newby w reptiles) is not taking this seriously) I am bathing her making sure her drip is on ..the soil if seald off and substrate up top i am upset I spent my time from age 10 too 21 volunteering at the nature center n planetarium ive raised very successfully bearded dragons I hv an amelanistic bearded dragon now ..snakes ...iguanas ..but I was always told that the chameleon was for adults she literally will come when i get near or call her we are seriously bonded i am worried badly should i go to emergency vet or reptile specialist ? She had a cricket in her poop but it was not evan digested n she ate 3 huge super worms plus a horned the day before and now it looks like shes got a taste for fertilizer im not able to hv children these are mine! Please any advice❣i posed her like that so u can see her tummy better

No I evan hv a lay box new hibiscus(w braided vine and other smaller hibiscus) that's in her outside cage w organic soil n lay bin ...inside gorgeous enclosure w same except for lay bin we live n S.W. FLORIDA so she comes inside around 5 or 6 pm and yesterday it dropped to 40 degrees f° all she wants to do is sit on my head or shoulder or watch friends lol but she is definitely a she definitely has a tubby tummy! Thank u 4 responding what should I do I dont want her to get sick

So she isn't inside or outside with her laybin full time? I think she needs to be left alone when it's time to lay, and if she doesn't feel like she's getting enough privacy she may not dig or abandon the effort...

Nope, you are correct. When it’s nearing her time to lay, she needs to be left in her enclosure with a lay bin and given absolute privacy. To be disturbed from the process of laying results in becoming eggbound.
