I'm not saying chams can hear like we do, but I'm totally convinced they hear better than what herpetologist say. I take my cham outside and a car goes by that is out of her sight and she jumps and turns her eyes every time to look. Sneak up on your cham some time without them seeing you make a noise and see it they don't look in the direction of said noise. Try it see for yourself as they say the proof is in the pudding. No offence but just because someone is well educated doesn't mean they have all the answers. When scientist thought the world was flat they were considered educated, and smart how did that turn out.
