My chameleon room

Wow. And how much did all of that run you???
I wish I had such an extensive setup like yours, I don't have the space or money to come even close right now.

I'll never tell :D We all had to start somewhere, it comes with time and usually OLD AGE Lol.;)

LOL. I'm guessing upwards from $20,000.
And I can say I'm jealous.. When I'm retired I'm going to be the crazy old guy who has hundreds of chameleons. It's going to be awesome, and my wife will hate me.

HEY I RESEMBLE THAT REMARK !!!( old guy) but I'm only crazy for my wife of 30 plus years,my children(all over 25 ) my grandchildren and my chameleons. As my good friend Bobby/Saldayra always says... It's cocaine, hookers or chameleons so I choose the latter. :) ;) I am lucky as my wife has even delivered Tarantulas to pet stores while I was out of town and even put on a show with all my snakes, lizards, birds, spiders, monkeys ETC. She even had a favorite his name was Larry the lap lizard.Larry was a 6+ foot long Iguana and he loved Sharon. I've never seen a lizard lay on it's back to get a belly rub before I saw Sharon doing it to Larry!!! You might be in the same ball park but as I said ( I'll never tell )

Hahaha well then, that's devotion, my fiancé (will be wife eventually) would never touch a tarantula, let alone tolerate the picture of a household spider on my iPod. Congrats on a happy marriage and a healthy obsession for animals, opposed to the cocaine or hookers lol. Chameleons are definitely an addiction. You have built an impressive legacy for yourself it appears, and hopefully you have passed on some traits to your kids to keep it going!
I'm assuming you sell chameleons then?

Yes I sell Chameleons,I just had two clutches of T.J. Jacksoni and they sold out before they were 2 weeks old!!! I never advertised them I just posted pictures of them and then the storm of pm's and calls started. I've been playing with animals and reptiles all my life!!! I have many stories to tell but fear no one would believe me so I keep them in the family. All of my sons have grown up with animals and all kinds of critters and all 3 are well versed in care and keeping them. My youngest son seems the most interested in continuing my passion so I'm building it up so that he can make a living doing what we both love. Anyway I'm going to do this until I'm to old (older that is)and then we will see what happens!!! :p

great job w/ the room. i'm excited to see your building steve. congrats and you're not that old. ;)

Thanks Sang! I don't feel that old but my kids kid around with me and sometimes refer to me as ( old guy ) lol. I have to remind them I'm not to old to whip their tails but I'm not sure if my bluff is still working. :)

Any chance we can take a look at your drainage tables and how they are constructed?

I stole the design from Brian Stinson/Reptoman/Crazy Eye Chams. He has a thread on it and I do as well. I have a few threads that show how it is built and the most recent is the one on my 16 cage rack. Brian is the master on these and builds them to a furniture quality, mine are much more simple. If after looking at those threads you need any help I and I'm sure Brian will be happy to help. Just let me know!
Steve

My friend, it looks like you have come a long way since we have last spoken! I couldn't have drawn this up any better, but that's because I have no drawing skills... :D

Truly, truly a job well done! You will reap many rewards of the crawling, googly eyed creatures that we love!
