I think he is feeling cold, you should give spidy a hotter bulb so the basking spot will be around 90F...use a temp gun to measure accurately or you mightl get a roasted spidy in this coming holiday season along with chestnut ....yup...yup

90F is too hot.

Do you have a UVB and a basking lamp? You need both. What is the red thing? If you have a red light, get rid of that an use a normal white housebulb. No red lights for chameleons, and no lights at night.

What type of chameleon is he? You can look up the proper basking temperature in the appropriate caresheet:
https://www.chameleonforums.com/care/caresheets/

You do need a reliable thermometer - a digital one to measure the temperature right at the basking spot.

I think you just have a young chameleon and they like to explore everything. Mine used to do that when he was little and it would screen me he would get burned. I see you have your uvb bulb which is good but that red light is no good at all. You need to replace it with regular house bulb like a 60 watt incandescent. He needs the bright light to know that's where the heat is. There is no red light in nature so he has no idea that's where his heat is. It may also be why he's hanging around under the uvb. He might be expecting it to be his warm spot which it never will. Also, you know you don't need any light at night right? A lot of people get the red lights as "nightlights". They need a drop in temp at night and complete darkness. Even a tv on can disrupt their sleeping. Just have the uvb and basking on for 12 hours and then nothing for 12 hours. What are you feeding and gutloading with? What supplements are you using? How old is he?

Since young spidy boy still in tender stage under 9 months 85F will be ideal,90F will be in his adulthood that is what I meant ....its hard to judge from the pic....yup...yup

Tnx guys, first my room temp s 70s all day all night except maybe the month of december. I feed him crickets they eat mix of fluckers grain and orange cube.. i used to have bulb which gave him heat and uvb but then blew up.

Yeah his only couple moths at least 3 months so far..

That's why. He needs a basking light.

He's looking a little dehydrated. How often do you mist his cage? Do you have a water dripper or a misting system of some kind? Also, you'll want to feed him more than just crickets. They need a lot of variety. Superworms, dubia roaches, hornworms, occasional waxworm... lots of different feeders makes them happier and healthier. You'll also want to get something other than the orange cubes. You can gutloading with dark leafy greens and a variety of veggies also something like repashy bug burger or cricket crack which you can get from member nick barta. I think he has a thread in the food section. He also has a variety of good feeders you could get.

.Like Lathis said he needs that basking light it can be a simple incandescent bulb. He needs this so he can digest his food, and regulate his temperatures. They don't have an internal heat source like we do they are not warm blooded. Also you really should ditch those Fluker's gut load, and gut load with turnip greens, mustard greens, fruits, dandelion greens if you can find them this time of year. there are some post on here about good gut loads. He also needs a UVB bulb as well if he doesn't have that. also I would guess him to be 4-5 months old from that pic are you sure he is only 2-3 months old?
