Fate X, I hope you've seen enough proof now to open your eyes. I'm sorry it turned out like this for you, but hopefully even with a sore heart it's better than a missing kidney.

Listen, I live in Va. Beach and the Russian girls influx this area every summer. Most come over on legit green cards. They work two or three jobs and live with other Russian women/girls. They make more money in a summer like this than their entire family does in a year back in Russia.

Most of these girls/women are gorgeous and friendly. Most are looking for marriage so they can become U.S. citizens. More times than not the stories turn out bad. The guy who does my taxes is 54 and married a 17 year old from there. They were married for 3 years, suddenly she asked for a divorce, but only after charging 50k on his credit cards.

50k for 3 years is a lot of money for these girls. They can go home and live like Queens. I've been out with a few of them in the flesh and blood. By the third date their talking about marriage. LOL it's crazy.

So forget online man, if ya really want to sweep one of these girls off their feet and help one, come to VA. Beach and meet em in person, but I'll warn ya now .. their trouble.

i wanted to thank everyone for the advice.as most people on this forum know i keep a low profile here really only listing my veileds i have for sale and once in a while responding to a thread or two.
last night when i was watching tv i thought about why i started this thread.and i realized that i wanted some feedback because i dont really have anyone to talk to about this that can provide honest advice and bringing it here i was able to get many opinions from different people.also their were a few important things mentioned that i had not fully thought about like the fact that violence could happen even though its unlikely its always a possibility.i am not a violent person that goes out and causes violent situations,however i have always beleived in my right to defend myself with a lethal force in order to preserve my life.
i am a honest person and i have principals in life i beleive in.
after evaluating this situation i beleive this person sending me emails is going to eventually ask me for money to take atvantage of me.she sent me another email this morning with more pics.i read the scam links provided by other memebers and she is following the same sequence as in those scam sites.

however i still read the email and most likely will read them and respond untill she goes into the "disapearing mode".after she gets no money from me and realizes shes wasting her time.

I went the bus up to the Subway from the airport .In Subway long went, it was so is delightfulI was in travel agency today, but my documents are not ready yet, it will be ready tomorrow. I will go to travel agency again to get all info about my trip. And of course, when I will get it - I will send it to you!It is such great city and it takes a few hours to travel from one end to other.I rented the flat for few days.People said to me some nice places in Moscow while he wasSuch a great city it is. I have no words to explain. you can't imagine how great Moscow is,to be fair I wouldn't like tolive here,a lot of cars,people , voice and pollution.Ugly traffic and people with crazy eyes.When I get off plane in airport Moscow policeman asked about passport and he looked at me like I am any enemy,I think all people here are a little crazy at terrorism.Life here in Moscow is expensive. I was going through some shops todayand it is much more expensive than in our town. Food and all the general things. It is the same country but different prices, what a great change.I think people living in Moscow are very cautious ,I think so. You're still referring to her as "she" like you're talking to the girl in the pics... You need to realize that you're talking to some guy who is talking to 30 other guys just like you.

For the money you're willing to spend (diamond ring), you could easily fly to Russia, find and marry a beautiful girl, and bring her back. The hard part is keeping her around after she gets here, but at least you go home with a girl under your arm.

That last email you posted is one that is on one of the sites people linked you to. I would also maybe edit out your cell unless you want everyone on the forum to have it. You sound like a nice guy, so there has to be a "real" girl out there that doesn't want you for a trip to the US or money.

I am not one to put down internet meeting, thats how I met my boyfriend who I have been with for 7 years. Keeping that in mind I have to say if it seems too good to be true it probably is. Don't let yourself get hurt, I wouldnt offer any money to her at all, even if she does visit you. Just be safe, anything can happen.

I'm really torn. This thread is so compelling I don't want it to ever end. On the other hand, I'm really ashamed at our species and how somehow the trait for gullible hasn't been snuffed out by evolution. Part of me wants you to understand that you're talking to a dude, and that every email you've shown us is already on the scam sites word for word. Part of me is fascinated by the idea that you're going to hunt for the girl who is really in the pictures and would love to see that saga unfold on the evening news, and finally part of me wants to see this go on and end in a blazing disaster of entertainment.

This is Letter 4 from the site regarding scams. It is the same right down to the typo's and grammatical errors. Be afraid, be very afraid. This is not going to end well for you. Why don't you just go to eharmony? At least they are legit.

And if anyone is interested , it took 10 seconds to find that and many more sites on this scam. Just copy the first sentence of any of those letters and google it .. you'll be shocked at how many pages it will find.

To FateX.. dude , I'm so sorry . You obviously put a lot of hope into this. Try something to distract yourself from it for a while. Go bowling or go to a hockey game... hang out with friends, get drunk ... anything .... good luck

I think its time to let Fate has sometime to think and work out that he has been scammed.

The best thing we can do is not joke or ridicule him about it....many people have been sucked in by these and other scams. I would hate to be in his shoes (boots ) at the moment.
