My Kammer's Baby Came in

OK so my chameleon from Kammer's just came today 8D I am so happy. He is a hybrid boy. Absolutely gorgeous and 4 months old. He seems really confident already, wasn't even afraid of getting out of the cup with me around. I will upload pics when I find my camera cord T^T or buy a new one... >.> I suck at keeping those things around.

I am thinking I might name him Ryker.

I have decided to name him Ryker definitively, just because he looks like it'd fit him. I found my camera cord will put up pics as soon as he's in a better position... right now he's hanging out on the mister and I can't get a good shot of him .___. I think he knows what I want and doesn't want to cooperate. Thanks guys for all the congratulations <3 This is my first cham and I can't be any more excited.

Congrats on your new Kammers baby.
Squee is from them, they are super top notch and super experienced (30+years in breeding chams!! longer then most forum members have been alive!!

These folks are like the Zen of cham breeders :D

Lucky you, so, where are the pics?????

one thing to know is that chams need warmth to properly digest so its recommended to leave 4 hours of time between the last time they ate and lights out so they can bask and digest before they go to bed :) thats why most keepers take any left over food out of the enclosure 4 hours before lights out!

oh I had no idea o.o that's good to know his lights go out at 8 so I won't put in any more

I have 3 chams from the Kammers. All very beautiful and healthy members of my family. The Kammer family are very nice people, met them at a few expos.

The Kammer's breeders were so amazing and helpful. Ryker is so healthy too. He has yet to go to the bathroom but I assume it takes a while for the food to move through their system after a stressful move. He's drinking and eating well. I just wonder how many crickets I should be giving him right now? He's 4 months... I plan on giving him 12 today? Small size, would that be good? I'm also uploading a pic of his cruising/hunting colors later. First I have to charge the battery of my camera.

I also got my dubia roaches 8D I got medium size and some smaller ones, but I still think they are too big for him right now. I hope they start breeding soon ^^

Ok so I'm absolutely in love with Ryker, he's not afraid of me at all. I was planning on giving him a couple days to relax before I tried to hold him at all. Well one of his branches fell the other day so I was in his cage fixing it and he walked right onto my hand. XD I thought I should at least try bringing him out of his cage while I had the chance and I could tell he was slightly nervous being out but his colors never changed to stressed and all he did was climb onto my shoulders so he could be up high ^^. I only kept him out for a couple minutes.

After that I hand fed him a dubia roach, and I've only had him two days 8D I couldn't be more pleased with him <3 or more in love. He's so adorable. He seems to like the colors black, green and teal right now.

Here's the picture I promised: http://i88.photobucket.com/albums/k180/HawkfrostA/IMG_0064_zps950e6cb0.jpg
