Hi Guys im new to the forum....
I already keep several other reptiles - cresties, leos, bearded dragon and afew snakes.
But I took the plunge at the weekend at a UK reptile show and bought a low white pied yemen. Ive been chatting with Miss Lily(Tiff) to get advise as she is also on a UK forum and shehas given great advise and also directed me to you lot.

Here is our new little man....pics arent amazing due to his stressful day I just took afew.
He has such cute pink feet because of the pied in him...he is yet to be named!

His set up for now...my OH is going to build a custom 4ft for when he is large.

There is also a Ficus in the middle now but I took this pic before completion.

He was drinking water from the silk plants yesterday evening when we got home and also catching water from his dripper which was fascinating to watch. He hasnt eaten his livefood yet but its not been very long so hopefully today he will feel abit more settled to eat.

His Father is Sox from KKChameleons, I really hope he has some of his good looks!

I agree that with Tiff as a resource you have a big edge. Your boy is sweet the pink feet and some pink showing on him are lovely. You do have a keeper.:)

Thank you! You guys are all so kind! I have such passion for chameleons and try to help wherever I can!

Michelle - he is gorgeous! Those pink feet are the cutest! It's gonna be cool to watch the l'il guy grow up! he'll eat when he's ready - how are you offering food? I cup fed Amy using an empty margarine tub and she took to it straight away! You don't want to leave crickets loose in the cage overnight if they don't get eaten - they may nibble on the dear l'il man! Nasty icky things, lol! Oh, and locusts bite too, lol! I've been bitten by one of the little buggers!:D

Came home to him shedding......OH has been watching him all day soooo jealous, i want to work at home. He also caught a locust earlier to. On the pics of his set up those little plastic cups in the green netting one has tiny roaches in as i have a colony, the other i put afew locusts in but they obviously crawled out. The soap dish holder has a little tub for greens.

What numbers should i be feeding him. I cant believe i have so many reps but numerous of the same. Its been a long time since i started from scratch with whole new care needs x

When I got Amy at 3 months I fed her 10 tiny crix in the morning and some more again at lunch time. Once they start eating a ridiculous amount it's time to increase the size of the feeder, but he'll be ok on the smallest things for a while. Just remember not to feed him anything larger in width than the gap between his eyes and you'll be fine!
