I filled out the infor as best I could.
I have a male vieled chameleon. He is about six months. He came into my care this Sunday.
I have not handled him because I do not want to stress him out because he is in such new housing quarters.
Right now I am feeding him medium sized crickets ( roughly 10) with a sprinkle of calcium with d3 and yesterday I fed him the same amount but with the other vitamins. The crickets are being fed "total bites" gut load.
For the supplements I am using zoo med's reptivite with d3 which says it has all the vitamins. And then repcal calcium with d3.
For the watering I have a drip system and I also mist the cage regularly. But I have not physically seen my Cham drink.
His fecal matter is kinda grayish and watery.
He has not been checked for parasites. And I got him from a local reptile store.
Cage dimensions are 18x12x22.and it is mesh.
His lighting system consists of a 25w basking lamp and a 5.0 UVB 13 watt (they are both zoo med)
Basking spot is at 83 and coolest spot is at 74 I use a digital thermometer to gage temps. I keep my room at 67 at night time.
I live in Gainesville Florida. So there is normally high humidity.
The highest point of the cage is 5 feet off the ground.

You'll receive other constructive criticism from members, but one thing I do notice is you'll want to also get some Calcium WITHOUT D3 or Phosphorus supplement. This is what you will give most (about 4-5x per week). The Calcium WITH D3 should usually be given around 2x per month or so. You also dust with the Multi-vitamin about 2x per month. Obviously opinions vary on this but that is generally considered to be somewhat average advice from what I've read here and elsewhere.

Some dude used D3 calcium for his chameleon's whole life and it never made a difference, but then again, chams differ, and opinions differ.
I would honestly still use D3 phosphorous FREE though.

Sorry, this post is wrong. D3 used daily will lead to edema. There is a daily use calcium (Repashy calcium plus) but this zoomed stuff should be used twice a month, using plain calcium at all other feedings. A vitamin supplement like herptivite should also be used twice a month

No, you don't need to return it. Keep it but just use twice per month. You need calcium without D3 or phosphorous, which will be used daily (depending on what critters you feed).

Your enclosure is looking alright but it could use a little more foliage and horizontal branches. Most people here dislike using any type of substrate to avoid inadvertent impaction. I use paper towel and change it regularly. One other thing that I'm sure you know, is that you will have to move him to a larger cage when he is older.
