My New Little Guy

You can make a cup feeder for the superworms, or you can let them climb up the screen and he can pick them off from there. You can search how to make a feeder cup, but the easiest/quickest solution is to take a one-serving yogurt container, punch 2 holes in it, thread a twist-tie and use the ends of the twist-tie to tie around a branch for him to eat.
My pet sitter who we use when we are on vacation, won't touch the superworms either, so I leave tongs out for her

wow that is a brilliant idea, the crickets at the bottom chase the super worms or they will fight and its kinda funny

So for those who watch this thread I recently went to petsmart to pick up some crickets and I saw some false information on chameleon food

Petsmart is a retailer...I didn’t know for a longtime how little they cared about thier animals ... but after a while you figure out that their animals are simply merchandise, and of course anything they sell will be on their care sheet for chameleons... my first Chameleon (his name was Harry) lived for less than a month after I got him home. He had MBD when I got him and was 6 months old and had lived in a 16”x16” enclosure for approximately 4 of those months...with a water bowl and no supplements...I named my new Cham Harry jr in honor of poor Harry who the vet said never had a chance...they also offered me a refund or exchange for another pet as an apology when I showed them the vet report. It was like I was bringing back a shirt that didn’t fit !

Oh my I’m so sorry! Also I may have made a huge mistake!! I purchased large crickets because he occasionally ate a big one BUT THESE I DIDNT REALIZE WERE HUGE AND ITS TOO LATE BY THE TIME I PUT THEM IN! Will he be okay? I have plucked a couple out already but I’m freaking out!

You should take those out and buy the small ones. I looked at your picture from Monday those are WAY TO BIG for him, and if he doesn’t eat them they can bite him and that can turn into a whole different problem. His skin can get infected if they bite him.

without a doubt arcadia is the best bulb to use. i have lots of spare ones but i cant ship internationally.:( ive got lots of spare gear just causing clutter after reggie passed away. Arcadia actually redeveloped the sunbed bulb and created a bulb for uvb and uva radiation release which is as efficient as possible:)

using a reflector is always best with those bulbs though as they distribute evenly in a 360 degree field using a metal reflector helps direct the radiation a little better while still having a flood effect like the natural sun would.

My entire family lives, and is from Norwich England minus my mom and Dad who came here, but are from there also. I was the first American in my family:) I can get it shipped:)
