My New Little Guy

What’s your enclosure looking like with all the sticks now? Got a pic ?

Yes I do! (AMAZON WAS HAVING DIFFICULTIES WITH THE PAYMENT SO I HAVE TO WAIT TILL SATURDAY.) sooo I managed to get all the dang crickets out and it took a lot of screaming and my mother laughing. But here is the crickets and what the enclosure looks like now and he also has some shedding left on his head should I remove it or let it be?

Also shoutout to my younger sister for letting me use her snake tweezers

its basically a sheet of highly polished aluminium which clips onto the light via small plastic clips.

Everything in the US is expensive sadly
everything reptile based costs tonnes to get. i spent around 450 dollars for a setup and almost 100 for the chameleon. this is with all the mods to the enclosure new lighting etc. i might have been ripped off but the animal itself costs a metric ton

Great with the perches, no don’t pick off the shedding he’ll rub it off, not good to ever do that. Lol on the screaming, better get used to the bugs with a chameleon :ROFLMAO:

No kidding! I’m better off with the worms! And speaking of worms I went to a nearby reptile store who sells horn worms and other live food, but I’ve heard of really terrible stores and all that stuff but this place actually took care of their animals and snakes and chameleons just very overpriced on the panther chameleon babies and the veiled, my mother bought me a soft grass rug to put on the bottom of the cage and she gave me a free cup for my worms so they won’t go anywhere. Man my day has been hectic.

I paid $150 for my guy...that again for the terrarium, another $100 for lights, who even can begin on terrarium plants both real and fake ...it’s a very expensive hobby

I think @Curlytails you should think about getting a new buddy sooner than later, it’s obvious you have an affection for the hobby...just saying:)
i sure do:) reptiles have been a passion of mine from a really early age.a family member of mine would invite me to his reptile room and show me his gecko collection and his clutches in the incubator. a big part of my life revolves around my animals. from fish to reptiles i love em all:). im gonna have to get a new cage then because my previous repti breeze has been trashed sadly. all my lighting is still at the ready though

And I was ripped off as well except Zenyatta his breeder sold him to me for $25 and the baby panthers were $35 but the setup and everything was over priced

Well some of the expense is out of the way, look for an enclosure second hand , I just got a 2’x2’x4’ for $40 dollars and the man had already repaired the only hole in the mesh with a screen repair kit...it was a steal!

I’ve always wanted a lizard ever since I had my two turtles which was awesome to watch! My mom always called our house a zoo because we had so many pets and she’s back to calling it again! I’ve grown up with fishtanks of all sorts because of my dad. I plan on being a dog trainer after my last year of high school and maybe a vet-tech! My cage is still in process until I get that bleeping light :(
