Hi everybody,

Finally! I got my first chameleon (Panther ambilobe), I got him from chameleon paradise (one of our sponsors), I just put him in his new home, he looks like he is really scared :( . But well It was probably a terrifying trip for him. He is just 2 and half moths old and he looks beautiful. I covered his screen cage with a blanket so he is not being disturb while he is getting use to it.

I will update the post soon with some pictures so you guys can see him :)

Congrats on your new baby panther, I know you will love him :)

I had no idea I would get so attached and addicted to these little guys
Have owned lots of 'lizards' in my life, but ultimately, they bore me!!

Chams are not like any lizard, they have actual personalities and interesting
behaviors, they are more like a cross between a monkey and a cat (with a
little lizard thrown in) :D

Congratulations!! Both of my boys are from Chameleon Paradise. Bruce is a great resource and has wonderful Chams.

Who is your chams sire?

My next cham will be a son of Candy Cane Jr I think.

Haha thank you everyone ! He doesn't has name yet. He is doing well :) . He still gettinh use to. I see if can take a nice picture today . By the way he is sired by Primo from chameleon paradise ..

Hey guys one question. My chaneleon has been eating and driking but he does not look really active. Is this because he is getting use to his new home or because of stress ?

Give him time to get used to his new home. Once he is more comfortable he will start to explore. Try to give him some space, only going into the enclosure when you have to and do it slowly. He sees you as a threat right now and needs to get used to you being around. Some chams are just more timid than others. I have one that is very personable and climbs right out on me and the other who still things I am going to eat him and scurries away when I come near.

We love to see pics too!!

Hi again guys,

Here are some pics, I know that these are not the best haha but I seriously don't want to disturb him because he steel looks scared and insicure.
He ate 3 silkworms and 3 crickets today so I'm not really worried. :)
I'll appreciate some name suggestions :D I was thinking in Aristotle hehe

Assuming he is healthy, non-activity is a sign of a content chameleon. When they are constantly scaling the walls they are not happy with their home. As long as his eyes are open and alert and he is eating and drinking (and pooping) there is little reason for worry.
