My new Parsons are HERE!!

Let me start by saying thanks to Steve (Smcnary) for bringing in the animals. As some may know, there was a bit of confusion with teh locale initially, but once I saw the quality of animals, I had to have some regardless.

Here are a couple of poor quality pics from the iPhone. Once I get them in their permanent cages and settled down some, I will get some better quality pics.

To say I am excited is an understatement. I have always been hesitant with this species due to issues of WC animals and not only the legal issues that represents but health as well with an already sensitive animal.

So forgive my giddiness and excitement. Here are some poor pics!!

No. My point was that I have been hesitant to buy a parsons in the past due to many of them being WC and/or imported illegally.

These are not from the (known suppliers) quote un quote and this would explain why I got Orange Eye and not the Yellow Lip I was promised. That being said your advise is sound as I for one think ALL chams one gets should get a fecal to be sure. I'm just thrilled with how good these are so I can't complain at all.

Interesting. Well, I hate to say it but I checked out the beginning of your thread and noticed they were supposed to be four unrelated bloodlines and that just speaks volumes. What a bummer. Hopefully legal trade in locale-specific parsonii will resume someday soon.

That would be my dream but the wife would kick me out! They're worth every penny you're asking for a chameleon that WILL live 15+ years with the right care. I haven't posted it here before but I'm expecting my first eggs very soon, also. I hope I can pull it off, too.

Kent you are so DEAD ON TARGET on this subject. I have legit cites paperwork on these and have done my best to be sure they are legit. That said no one wants to talk about how this can go and unfortunately people like me can only do our best to follow the rules but if the ones supplying these animals are cheating then what are we to do. This is a very HOT topic and I will leave it at that.

No doubt Kent, and I have a habit of grabbing a quick fecal whenever I can grab a fresh Poop on all of my Chams on a regular basis. Thanks for the feedback!

I am courious, was one of them orange eyes and the rest yellow lips or where all of them orange eyes?
