My chameleon is about 7 inches from nose to tip . He is shedding and keeps rubbing at his eye and closing it. Also closes it while basking. I'm useing a exo terra 160 all in one murcury vapor bulb . And a reptisun 5.0 liner T8 tube. In a 24"×24"×48" screen incloser. Crickets are the main staple. Freed not cup. Fogger and a monsoon automatic mister that mists every 3 hrs for 120 sec. Powder without d3 3 times a week . With once a week .And multi viti. Every 2 weeks. I feed him Dubai, and horn worms in a cup but he don't seem interested. I've had him for a month and I have a vieled as well that I've had for about 6 months. Here are some pictures of him. I'm worried about him I even bought him some shed spray.

Hmm..have you filled out the help form? I think that will help the experienced panther chameleon owners here help you. I have a veiled and I know there are some differences in husbandry between the two. Maybe @Matt Vanilla Gorilla , @Brodybreaux25 or one of the other more knowledgeable people here can help.

The MVB bulb has to go, replace it with a standard incandescent house bulb for him to bask under. MVB bulbs are more for desert lizards. He’s being bombarded with way too much heat and UV light, that’s what is most likely hurting his eyes. How old is that T8 bulb? Is it your only other source of UVB?

His shedding issues are due to a incorrect supplement schedule and lack of a gutload.

Correct schedule:
She should be getting calcium dust without D3 at every feeding. Also should be dusting with calcium with D3 twice a month. She also needs a multivitamin twice a month.

Every feeder given to him must be properly gutloaded. I recommend cricket crack or Bug Burger, both available on Amazon.

Shedding issues are almost always due to nutritional issues, get that corrected and you should have less issues in the coming months.

Also throw the shedding spray out, chams are dry shedders and should not be sprayed directly when shedding.
