You just made me hate crickets more, that thing is the devil
Yes they are. It`s very easy to breed and raise them. They are very hard and prolific. They are one of the black ones right? Never kept them, how are they to raise? Pretty cool
Looks like that cricket went full-on cyborgyou think that’s the devil check out these armoured crickets. View attachment 267599
I like crickets. Their nutritional value is very high when they are fed properly. The sound doesn`t bother me either. It`s just like spring meadow. I don`t keep them in my bedroom of course. You just made me hate crickets more, that thing is the devil
Yes I did.Did you take the pic? It’s a really nice shot of an evil cricket.

Great photo skills!Yes I did.
I purchased them from a local breeder. It was a little surprise because I expected normal ones.Did you collect them from outside?
Just for the record this is my simple setup. It can produce much more than I need. I know crickets are not very popular on this forum but in my opinion they are the best alternative if roaches cannot be used. I used to keep many species of roaches before but I must forget them and had to give all away.View attachment 267801View attachment 267802
Yeah I think most people are fine with buying/feeding them off. They're active and enticing feeders, not to mention cheap. Just don't want to be raising those noisy stinkers in my home ?I think crickets are a great feeder, just pain to deal with sometimes.

When just dealing with a dozen or two that are fed off quickly, they’re ok. Having to have bins of hundreds of them though - ugh! The beardie‘s appetite goes way beyond what my roach colony can provide, so crickets are necessary.
