I did not know that you were supposed to ask that when i first got him. but he was only 40 dollars so he probably was a wild caught. i just cant afford to bring him to the vet to get all these procedures done. i might as well attempt to return him and buy a different kind but ill make sure that it is definitely healthy. i would only do this though if he really is that bad. is he?

If this is the chameleon that you chose to take home, responsible for and keep good care for then you really should try and focus on just that. If you're willing to return him just because the poor baby may not be in good health, then no offense but u really aren't cut out for having any pet...

I understand it may be expensive. But I read all the replies and everyone really is giving you good advice! Just take their advice and if he doesn't get better then take him to the vet... But if ur just gonna give him back b/c he's not healthy, then I recommend you give up on being a pet owner...

It's like having a child. U don't give it up b/c he/she gets sick, u do ur part in being the "parent" and take care of it!

I'm not just going to give up on him. I've been misting him alotttttt. and his eyes dont look shrunken in anymore since ive been doing it like every few hours. also i got this really good supplement and i dusted his crickets with them and he has been eating them and he seems to be improving.
