@Harley510, first time I've hatched them, but they are susceptible to pasty butt. So far they haven't had any poop get stuck on them. They sure are cuddly! I'm awake, he's asleep lol. View attachment 242908

I deal with a little over 700 chicks a week at work lol i see a lot of people questioning poo on their buts

Well both are up to 37 grams today and Spazz has already started to preen off some of his down as his regular feathers are coming in. Used a Rep-cal calcium container for a size reference.

Spazz is now 42 grams and Sloth is 40 grams. @kinyonga not sure if we are keeping them yet as support animals or giving them to the local corn maze that has a petting zoo, who we know the owners of personally as they also run a Halloween haunted house venue that is being turned into a Halloween expo.

Well now a week old and Spazz is 52 grams and Sloth is 50 grams. Also in the process of fixing Sloth's feet, she has curled toes. Spazz pretty much falls asleep no matter who is holding him now.

Up to 58 grams for Spazz and 54 grams for Sloth. And Sloth's feet are starting to position more normally.

Spazz is 64 grams and Sloth is 58 grams. Starting to get more of the adult plumage!

Might actually end up with 2 white silkies, as Sloth's adult feathers are coming in, she's turning white.

More confident that Spazz is a male, he's 78 grams and Sloth is a female at 70 grams. They sure are getting big! Spazz's tail seems to be feathering out faster. Spazz is already very trusting, he was sleeping like this in my hand until the flash went off lol

Spazz is now 91 grams and Sloth is 81 grams. They try to fly already but all they manage to do is move a bunch of air around and make a huge amount of noise lol

They sure are getting fluffy now! Spazz is 133 grams and Sloth is 121 grams.

Both are starting to acquire the blue earlobes, and we regularly have to trim the feathers around Spazz's eyes so he can see. Sloth is now able to perch even though her feet aren't perfect yet, so we've gotten them functional now at least and no toes are underneath other toes anymore, both are over 400 grams now. I can't believe how fluffy they are already!
