He looks pretty good to me, aside from his hat being on a little crooked! His legs don't worry me as much in these pics, his colors are lovely and he's not looking dry.

Glass cages aren't a problem as long as they have good ventilation. However when they get large enough for an adult veiled they get extremely heavy in my opinion. Technically your original vitamins would have been fine depending on the amount of vitamin A and D provided in it. In fact multivitamins that include calcium and other minerals are preferred in my opinion because they allow for better absorption. Make sure you are replacing your uvb and it is not sitting on glass or something it can't penetrate.
The gray coloration is fine. I find that some times just before a shed, my male's casque turns kind of gray. It's just old skin. Can I see a pic of the back of his rear legs?
